The red light will be flashing

Find the Recover button on the User Interface.

Press RECOVER to enter into recovery mode.

The screen will display a questionnaire.

It will ask if you would like to continue.

Press Y
-

Clear the alarms to proceed

Press RESET until alarms cleared
-
Press RECOVER
-
Red lights should stop flashing.
-

-
It will ask if there is a tool in the spindle.
-
If yes, Press Y (go to step 5)
-
If no, Press N (continue)
-
It will ask if the arm will prevent the tool from being removed.
-
If yes, Press Y (go to step 6)
-
If no, Press N (go to step 7)

Prepare for removing the tool by placing something soft (binder) below in case you drop the tool.
-
Grasp tool.
-
Press Tool Release.
-
Set the tool aside.
-
It will ask if the arm will prevent the tool from being removed.
-
If yes, Press Y (go to step 6)
-
If no, Press N (go to step 7)

Make sure tool changer carousel is up.
-
Press "up arrow" (you will hear the device move)
-
Reorient the arm.
-
Press ATC FWD or ATC REV repetitively.
-
Use to orient arm back to origin (facing toward you)
-
Message on screen will alert you when you have reached the origin.

Since the tool is out of the device, the tool change carousel is out of the way, and the arm is at the origin,
-
Press Y to confirm the machine is ready to proceed.
-
Screen will ask if you are ready for pocket restore and reset of the carousel.
-
Press Y (You will hear the carousel resetting)
-
You have now successfully recovered the tool change crash.
-
Press RESET to proceed.
